The other, GMC Value Mart, 3402 Alabama Highway, is also another location where county residents can take recyclables. Materials accepted include cardboard/paperboard, newspaper, glass bottles and jars, #1 and #2 plastic, steel cans and aluminum cans.
“We are thankful for these and our other recycling partners, who are willing to donate some space to help us accomplish our mission — which is to recycle as many materials and keep them out of the landfill,” said Recycling Center Manager Mark Skeggs.
