The World War II veteran has volunteered with numerous organizations, including the Sara Hightower Library board and Hospitality House, and was a longtime representative on the Silver-Haired Legislature.

“Warren has just made such contributions to the community, and to the people statewide,” said State Rep. Barbara Massey Reece said. “He’s been active on behalf of senior citizens and an advocate for women and children.”
