United Hospice, United Homecare, and Uni-Health Source will be celebrating “Founder’s Day” and 41 years of quality health care service on Sept. 9 through our proud affiliation with the UHS-Pruitt Corporation family of providers, according to a press release.

According to the release:

Through both Neil L. Pruitt Sr. and Neil L. Pruitt, Jr.’s leadership and guidance, UHS-Pruitt has fostered a “Committed To Caring” philosophy and culture when interacting with their resident and patients, employees and communities they serve.

At our hospice, homecare, and Source locations here in Rome, we will be acknowledging this milestone and the contributions made by Mr. Pruitt, Sr. by having a celebration for all its employees that will include a “Cheeseburger in Paradise” themed luncheon catered by Fuddrucker’s, games, contests, entertainment provided by staff, and music along with a organization-wide address by Neil L. Pruitt, Jr.

“We are very excited about having this event,” said Jody Temple, United Hospice Administrator. “It is very important that we acknowledge our history and the important contributions we have made and continue to make to health care in Rome and the surrounding area.
