Purple Mountain Natural Foods

Purple Mountain Natural Foods is a beautiful, 3,000 square foot, family-owned and run natural food store. We have been in downtown Rome for over 6 years. From vitamins, herbs and homeopathic medicines to body care items, healthy pet foods, bags of rolled oats, beans or rice and spices by the scoop for cooking or healing, we try to stock or special order what you need. Groceries-packaged, refrigerated, frozen or dry are stocked. Many of our foods are organically grown, some are locally sourced, non have artificial colorings,flavorings or preservatives. We do not sell artificial sweeteners, except for a little high fructose corn syrup, which we are phasing out. We do sell a lot of stevia, agave, xylitol and local honey. These are healthy sweeteners. We specialize in gluten-free foods. Our supplements come from NOW Foods, Nature's Plus, Nature's Way, Solaray & Frontier Co-op Herbs, as well as many other brands found in high quality natural food stores.
