All banks will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26. Greater Rome, Heritage and River City will be closing early at 2 p.m. Nov. 24. Rome-Floyd County Library will be closed Nov. 26 and close early at 6 p.m. Nov. 25 All City, County and State offices will be closed Nov. 26 and Nov. 27. Federal offices and the U.S. Post Office and will be closed Nov. 26. The Rome City Transit will be closed Nov. 26 and Nov. 27. Department of Driver Services will be closed Nov. 26 and Nov. 27. Rome Solid Waste Collections will be closed Nov. 26. Thursday residence and business garbage and recycling only will be collected on Friday. Yard carts will not be serviced. Remote Solid Waste Collection sites will be closed Nov. 26.
