The Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority will host the third annual Paws in the Park on Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. atRidgeFerryPark. The event will feature a full lineup of activities for families and their dogs. The event will start with a 5K Doggie Dash and one-mile walk/run throughRidgeFerryPark. Participants can register in advance for $15 at rfpra.com or on the day of the event for $20. All participants who register by Oct. 1 will receive a T-shirt.
