The Floyd County Young Farmers and the Floyd County Ex-tension Service are offering an opportunity for area farmers to ap-ply for their Georgia Agriculture Tax Exemption (GATE) card Thurs-day at 7 p.m. in the library at Pepperell High School in Lindale. Computers and helpers will be available to complete applications through the Georgia Department of Agriculture website. The depart-ment charges $20 for online applications and $25 for mail-in forms.
