According to organizer Larry Tolbert, the event will begin at 11:45 a.m. with a silent march from the parking lot next to Polk County Farm Bureau and proceed north on Main Street to Polk County Courthouse No. 2.
A formal observance is planned on the steps of courthouse at noon with prayers, scripture reading, reports from local crisis pregnancy centers and placing memorial crosses on the courthouse lawn.
The public is invited to attend and participate. The event will take place regardless of inclement weather. Signs are welcome to be carried and displayed along the march route in harmony with the event theme.
