$4,000 in items stolen from home

Someone entered three vehicles and a utility room at a Saddle Mountain road residence and stole more than $4,000 worth of items, according to a Rome police report.

According to the report:

The resident reported that the three vehicles were entered between midnight and 5 a.m. Thursday.

Missing from the vehicles was a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop computer valued at approximately $2,000, a Kindle electronic reader valued at approximately $150, a laptop bag valued at approximately $50, Verizon AirCards valued at approximately $100, a Garmin GPS valued at approximately $150, a leather coat valued at approximately $100, a gold bracelet valued at approximately $200, an iPod Touch valued at approximately $200, a set of headphones valued at approximately $50 and a DVD player valued at approximately $100.

Also missing from the utility room was a Skil lawn trimmer valued at approximately $200, a Makita drill valued at approximately $150, a tool bag valued at approximately $50, miscellaneous hand tools valued at approximately $500 and a Makita sander valued at approximately $150.
