The Berry College Fine Arts Department presents “Journeys into the Unknown” by artist Julia Kjelgaard March 11 through April 5.

Kjelgaard will open the display of archival digital prints on canvas with a gallery talk at 7 p.m. March 11 in the Moon Gallery at Berry. Kjelgaard earned her bachelor of fine arts degree at the University of California and her master of fine arts from the University of Michigan. She serves as chair and senior lecturer of the Visual Arts Department at Emory University.

“My work has always been about learning to see and appreciate the unseen. My artworks utilize collaboration between the mechanically reproduced and the hand made to assist us to see the chaotic yet beautiful nature of the world in which we live,” Kjelgaard said.

The Moon Gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and is free and open to the public.
