Two people were arrested Wednesday on bench warrants that they allegedly sold cocaine, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Melvin Dewayne Ragland and Schinice Deidra Wright were arrested at separate locations Wednesday. Ragland was stopped on Veterans Memorial Highway and Wright was taken into custody at Big Bear BBQ on Dean Street.

Ragland, 46, of 217 Pennington Ave., was charged with two counts of felony sale of cocaine, two counts of felony possession of cocaine, two counts of felony possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and felony conspiracy of trafficking cocaine.

Wright, 42, of 231 Branham Ave., was charged with felony counts of sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy of trafficking cocaine.

Both were being held without bond.
