2 arrested on methamphetamine charges

Two people were arrested by Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers on Thursday and charged with possession of methamphetamine.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Jody LeWayne Pelfrey, 39, of 187 Rogers Drive, and Regina Sheryl Brock, 41, of 25 Worsham St., were arrested at Pelfrey’s residence around 4:30 p.m. Each was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine.

Additionally, Pelfrey was charged with felony trafficking of meth, felony possession of meth with intent to distribute, felony possession of firearms by a convicted felon, felony possession of firearms during the commission of a crime, felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of dangerous drugs.

Pelfrey also had a parole violation and both he and Brock remain in jail without bail.
