2013 SPLOST Committee to meet Thursday evening

Residents of Rome and Floyd County will get a chance to be a part of the opening round the of Special Purpose, Local Option Sales Tax committee meeting being held Thursday.

The 2013 Rome and Floyd County SPLOST Committee is set to meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room located on the second floor of the Floyd County Administrative Building on East 4th Ave.

According to a release from the county clerk's office, the committee will be for "members to review general procedures and functions of the SPLOST Committee. The meeting is open to the public."
