MACON, Ga. (AP) — A Bibb County grand jury has indicted four people in connection with an embezzlement scheme and the death of a 58-year-old legal secretary.

The Telegraph of Macon reports 38-year-old Tracy Michelle Jones, two 23-year-olds Keith Anthony Dozier and Courtney Nicole Kelley, and 18-year-old Michael Brett Kelly, have been charged in the Oct. 5 slaying of Gail Spencer. The newspaper reports the four are also charged with aggravated assault, burglary, false imprisonment and theft.

Authorities say Jones worked with Spencer at a law firm where over $1 million was redirected to the four suspects' bank accounts. Authorities say Spencer was held against her will and was suffocated. It is not clear why Spencer was targeted.

The four are being held without bail in the Bibb County Jail.
