Four trees from Silver Creek Christmas Tree Farm are adding to the holiday spirit at the Governor’s Mansion in Atlanta.

Owners Wyatt Bramlette and James Terrell loaded two Murray cypress and two Frasier firs on Wednesday and drove down with Sheriff Tim Burkhalter to deliver them to First Lady Sandra Deal.

“They’re for the mansion and Georgia State Patrol headquarters,” Terrell said.

Burkhalter said Deal’s assistant, former Roman Ember Bishop, remembered Bramlette’s generosity during a Sheriff’s Shootout fundraiser.

She called to see if they’d send a tree, “and I told her sure, because I knew Wyatt would,” Burkhalter said.
