Adairsville High graduate MaKaylie Morris was recently crowned Homecoming Queen at the University of West Georgia.

Morris, who graduated from Adairsville in 2007, is majoring in speech language pathology. She is a junior and was representing her sorority Delta Delta Delta.

Morris is the daughter of Johnny and Tracey Morris. She is the granddaughter of Jim Morris of Centre, Ala., Bobbie and John Ashley of Cedartown and Bobbie and Don Unsworth of Rome.
