A couple of days after the Berry College Board of Trustees affirmed the decision to hold off on construction of a new football stadium until all funds for the project are pledged or contributed, there is evidence of at least two young eagles in a nest just to the north of where the proposed stadium is to be constructed.

The first of the young was believed to have hatched around January 27.

While Berry continues to wait for groundbreaking for the stadium, the trustees gave a green light to renovations at Richards Gym, adding locker rooms for the tennis, lacrosse and football programs, developing a new strength and conditioning lab and the development of practice fields outside the gym.
