“Boeing Boeing,” won the 2008 Tony Award for best revival. The show, written by Marc Camoletti and adapted by Beverly Cross, “lifts off” the season with laughter and a light heart. The story is a rollicking farce revolving around a bachelor, Bernard, who tries to keep timetables straight for all three of his flight attendant fiancés. A new faster Boeing jet has been introduced and the ladies’ behavior does not match Bernard's careful planning.
The cast is composed of newcomers and seasoned actors from the Berry stage. The cast includes seniors Jennifer Allman and Kali McMillian, juniors Darren Barnet, Spencer Miller, and Allie Southwood, and freshman Rachel Blair. The production is directed by Richard Bristow, a newcomer to the Berry Theatre Department. Berry College Theatre Company will present five shows this season along with a staged reading.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. For tickets and additional information please call the Berry College Theatre Box Office at 706-236-2263.
