Berry: Berry teams fall on road

In its second game in as many days, No. 17-ranked Berry lost 3-1 to Allegheny on Sunday.

The road loss dropped Berry to 7-2 overall.

After playing to a tie at the half, Allegheny (7-1-1) took over with two goals in the second half.

Berry will conclude its four-game road swing on Saturday when it opens the Southern Athletic Association portion of its schedule against Centre in Danville, Ky., at 7 p.m.

In women’s action on Sunday, the Lady Vikings traveled to Atlanta and suffered a 4-0 loss to Emory on Sunday.

Emory improved to 6-0-2; Berry is now 2-4.

Brooke Clement had a busy day in goal and stopped 10 Eagle shots. 

Berry is at Centre on Saturday.
