Burglary reported at Treeside Drive residence

Someone broke into a Treeside Drive residence while the resident was at church on Sunday, according to a Rome police report.

According to the report:

The thieves forced open a rear door in the den and took three rifles, valued at $1,800, $800 and $250 and a 42-inch television set valued at $1,800 and the cable box.

No suspects were listed on the report.
