WASHINGTON (AP) — David Petraeus has resigned as director of the CIA after admitting he had an extramarital affair.

According to his letter of resignation, Petraeus asked President Barack Obama on Thursday to allow him to resign, and on Friday the president accepted.

Petraeus said in a statement that he had shown "extremely poor judgment" in having an affair.

Voter, I don't wear republican glasses all the time..He's taking the fall! He failed to protect Americans on his watch-Those folks have no party affiliation to me.

So, he resigns on the Friday after the election?

You don't find that a Bit strange?

At least when he's grilled on Capitol Hill, he can tell the truth without fear of retaliation.
