A Cartersville man was jailed Saturday on criminal trespass, obstruction and peeping Tom charges after he was found looking inside a window at a Cartersville hotel, reports stated.

According to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office:

Timothy Calvin Day, 48, of a Cartersville address, was arrested Saturday night after reports that he was peeping in a hotel room window at the Country Inn and Suites on Ga. Spur 20.

Reports stated the manager first noticed Day in the parking lot and saw him leave in a black 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, then he returned and went around to the back of the hotel, where deputies found him after the manager called 911.

Day ran from a deputy but was captured minutes later at the intersection of Spur 20 and Smiley Ingram Road.

He was jailed on a felony peeping Tom charge and on misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass and obstruction of officers.
