Cartersville man jailed for Missouri warrant

A Cartersville man was jailed Sunday on warrants from Missouri after deputies found him hiding in a closet, reports stated.

According to reports from the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office:

Nicholas Joseph Atterbury, 27, of 48 Foxfire Lane in Cartersville, was jailed early Sunday morning after he was found to have a burglary warrant for failing to appear in Missouri.

Deputies reported that Atterbury ran from them, into the Foxfire Lane address, and hid under a pile of clothing in an upstairs closet.

He was placed in custody on the warrant and taken to the Bartow County Jail.
