Cherokee County, Ala. moves art festival date
CEDAR BLUFF, Ala. — The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce has announced Art at the Bluffs scheduled for Saturday will be moved to Oct. 10 because of the threat of bad weather. Artists and artisans from North Alabama and Georgia will come together at The Bluffs of Weiss for exhibit and sale of unique and fine artworks.
Entertainment will be presented throughout the day by the outstanding Jazz artists, The Jazz Merchants and other groups.
Paintings, carvings, metal crafts, pen and ink, blown glass, dolls, pottery, ceramics, ironwork, textiles, woodwork, nature objects, and artistic displays from some of the region’s finest artisans will be available.

Admission to Art at the Bluffs will be $2 for adults and free for children younger than 12. Prizes will be provided by participating artists, and special drawings are planned during the day.
