Christmas trees can be taken to any of the county’s remote solid waste collection sites for recycling through Friday, Jan. 8. Trees must be dropped off during regular operating hours, which are:
Potts — 182 Potts Road, Tuesday-Saturday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Hatfield — 488 Jones Mill Road, Tuesday-Saturday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Berryhill — 434 Berryhill Road, Tuesday-Saturday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Midway — 135 Midway Park Road, Monday-Saturday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Shannon — Todd Street near fire station, Tuesday-Saturday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Cave Spring — 101 Kings Bridge Road, Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p. m, Saturday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
All sites will be closed on Friday, Jan. 1.
The tree recycling program Bring One for the Chipper is scheduled at 8 a.m. Jan. 9 at Home Depot.
