Country singer Doug Stone, who was the headliner for this weekend's Brent Hilburn Music Festival in Rockmart, chats with Rome's Collin McDougald, 13, as he signs autographs after his performance Saturday night. Collin showed the country crooner a photo of the guitar he wants to get and Stone talked to him about music and the importance of practicing and working hard. The music festival was a two-day event at The Rock that was a benefit for Cancer Navigators in honor of Brent Hilburn, who lost his lifelong battle with cancer last September. Friday night featured gospel music and the sounds of The Talleys, Jimi Bennett and Second Coming while Saturday saw a wide range of music from country to rock to blues performed by regional bands Dirt Road South, Clay Broome, Blues Network, Scratch Off John, Kris Anderson and the Would Be Thieves, Black Friday, Isaac Streetman, and Bennie Gray and the Trailer Park Cowboys
