County bonus check appreciated

Employees of Floyd County recently received a one-time bonus check. I would like to thank our Commissioners — Irwin Bagwell, Garry Fricks, John Mayes, Larry Maxey and Rhonda Wallace. Since not receiving a cost-of-living pay increase since July 2008, this money will most definitely help. For me and my husband, it will “ease the pain” a little when we fill our gas tanks.
