Fire brings engines to International Paper

The Rome-Floyd County Fire Department responded to a fire at International Paper late Wednesday night.

Firefighters were working on a fire in the area of the recycling department of the paper mill on Mays Bridge Road off of Ga. 20.

The fire appeared to be under control with reports of heavy smoke. No further information could be gathered at press time.
