The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is waiting on video evidence to complete the probe into an incident where a woman in custody allegedly attempted to steal an Aragon police car.

According to Aragon Police Chief Wayne Sanders, he talked with the GBI Wednesday regarding the Oct. 17 incident where Tina Poole Cobb, 36, of Rockmart, allegedly got out of handcuffs and attempted to drive off in a police car.

Sanders said the department had to send off the video to be “put back together” because it and the video camera where damaged when the car wrecked.
