The Georgia Highlands women’s basketball team will play its last home game of the regular season tonight, but the Lady Chargers won’t have to say goodbye to their home floor.

The GHC squad, which has put together a highly-successful season in its first year as a program, has earned the right to host a first-round game at next week’s Georgia Colligate Athletic Association conference.

But first, the Lady Chargers — who are in second place in the GCAAC — will have a special night on their home floor.

They welcome Albany Tech tonight at 5:30 p.m. and will recognize the four sophomores on the roster: Manon Cherubini, Sheandre Lee, Lashanta Clardy and Rachael Turrentine.

They will be honored at the end of the women’s game.

The GHC men will play the backend of tonight’s doubleheader at 7:30 p.m.

GHC star Shan’Taja Latimore will be sing the National Anthem before the women’s game.
