Just two weeks ago, NJCAA All-Region and All-District forward Alex Miller drained a 51-foot jump shot at the buzzer to help Georgia Northwestern down Sewanee at the Rossville Athletic Complex (R.A.C.).

On Monday night, again against Sewanee, the Bobcats repeated the first half from two weeks ago falling behind early leading to an eight-point deficit at the break, 32-24.

Three-pointers from freshman Tavish Reynolds and Hunter Ivester helped get the lead down to a one-point margin, however the Tigers pulled away for a 62-55 win.

Reynolds went 5-for-6 on 3-pointers leading the Bobcats in scoring with 15 on the night. Ivester, Bud Todd and Miller each scored 10 points.

The Bobcats and Lady Cats are both in action tonight at The R.A.C. for Georgia Northwestern’s annual Toy Drive games. The Lady Cats begin play at 6 p.m., followed by the Bobcats.
