The NJCAA Region XVII defending champion Lady Cats attacked early and often in Georgia Northwestern’s region opener Saturday versus Southern Crescent.

Up by as much as 25 in the first half, the Lady Cats won their first region game cruising past the Lady Tigers, 77-52.

Former Armuchee player Sierra Smith led the team with 14 points, including four 3-pointers. Odessa Person scored eight points and had 17 rebounds.
