A warrant is out for a Kingston man who is alleged to have shot a Cartersville man in the leg, reports stated.
According to reports from the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office:
Kevin Jared Hale, 34, of 142 Howard Street in Kingston, is wanted on charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Hale is alleged to have met up with Nathan Eugene Williams, 29, of a Peeples Valley Road address, at Williams’ address sometime between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Williams told police he and Hale were meeting about an issue the two were having with one another. When Hale arrived, Williams said they got into an argument and Hale pulled a gun and shot him in the rear right thigh.
Williams was reported to have been treated and released from Cartersville Medical Center after the incident.
Hale was last seen fleeing the scene in a maroon Chevrolet pickup truck.
