I, LIKE MANY OTHERS, am very disturbed by the protests in many of the Muslim countries. The White House continues to say that the protests are not about Muslims hating the United States but protests aganst the 14-minute video about the Muslim founder.

However, the protestors are yelling “Death to Americans” and burning the American flag. It is amazing to me that the major newscasts and newspapers also refuse to call the terrorist attack a pre-planned assault to kill our ambassador to Libya.

On the anniversary of 9-11, a newscaster (with his own radio program) said that we never read in the papers or hear on the news that those attacks were attacks by Muslim terrorists. The news just says the twin towers were attacked by “terrorists” apparently so as not to offend all Muslims. However, on Dec. 7th when we remember the attack on Pearl Harbor, it is said “the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor”, and when WWII is mentioned, the articles say Germans were the enemy. Why is it that our government and our news people don’t worry about offending the Japanese or Germans, but would never offend the Muslims? Is it because too many are sympathetic with the Muslims or afraid of them?

It seems our nation has certainly gone far from the values of the Founding Fathers who were not afraid to stand up for the freedoms in which they believed.

So then if that's your idea... then it would also be fair to blame the Christians and Catholics for holocaust? Not Germans?

Interesting thought you have there. 0_o
