To have city-owned green space in the middle of Rome is such a gift. Compare it to Central Park in New York City or countless other beautiful cities that have lovely parks for people to enjoy. Let’s not throw away this opportunity to create and expand an urban central park that our citizens and their grandchildren can enjoy and be proud of for years to come.
As the writer so perfectly stated, “Nature in a city fulfills many social and psychological needs...It’s importance to the health and vitality of a city cannot be underestimated.”
Future Romans and visitors to our city will thank us.
