While still humming the carols of Christmas, our hearts are still rejoicing from the actions of some of the special businesses from the city of Rome, Ga. We, The Greater Bethlehem Temple Church - Pastor, Bishop Bobby Braziel Sr., and Minister Debra North - Outreach Coordinator, would like to thank several Rome Businesses for their participation in the Christmas program titled, “What Would the Lonely Do at Christmas.” This program was designed to show seniors ages 60 to approximately 100 years old, that they would not be forgotten at Christmas. The following businesses helped to make special memories for the elderly: Roman Chemical Corporation - Mr. Ron Brand, Rome Fire Dept. - Chief Bobby Owens, Walmart (East) -Mr. Steve Roland, Walmart (West) - Ms. Dee Evans, Komans - Mr. & Mrs. Oh, F.K. Jones Mortuary - Mr. Frank K. Jones, La Marie’s At Magretta Hall - Mrs. Marie Brinson, Home Depot - Mr. Donald Raley, Ole Tymer BBQ - Ms. Courtney Owens, Rome Coca-Cola Company, Honeymoon Bakery, Kellogg Bakery, Kroger, Cato’s of Rome, Anthony’s Bargains, and Mrs. Belinda Jackson.
You may never know that the donations you gave to others, some of them were fathers and some were mothers, reinforced God’s highest command to Love one another!
