The city of LaFayette’s annual Christmas parade, themed “A Christmas Wonderland,” will take place at 6 p.m. Dec. 7.

The parade route begins at 512 S. Main St., then heads north through the town square, turns left onto Margaret Street and ends at the Sixth Grade Academy parking lot.

Bring the kids for candy and to see Santa ride into town, and check out all the floats as they compete for best-decorated.

Come out and see LaFayette’s free annual “Amazing Christmas” lights show that begins after the parade and continues until Jan. 2 at Joe Stock Memorial Park. Spectators may enjoy the state-of-the-art, synchronized musical light show daily from 6-10 p.m. at the park on North Main Street. Enjoy the display from the city park or in the warmth of your car by tuning your car radio to FM 89.5. Shows are free to the public.
