The last Berry College Enterprise Fall Farmers Market of the year will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Saturday) Sept. 15 next to the Cage Center.

All of the Berry student-operated enterprises will showcase their products at this market. Items will include live potted plants from Season's Harvest, herbs from Martha's Herbs, cheese from the Berry dairy cows by the Jersey Milk Enterprise, hand-made crafts from Viking Creations and more.

Vendors from the greater Rome community will also attend, offering home-canned vegetables, jams and jellies, bath and beauty products, wood working items, and baked goods. The market will be a delight for all ages as inflatables, cotton candy, and free face painting will be offered.

“We are excited to be hosting some new community vendors from leather belt workings and our usually delicious fresh fruits, veggies, and funnel cakes with deep-fried Oreos!” said Berry senior Shannon Soafer, co-chair of the Farmers Market.

Lunch is available as well. The Berry Farms Angus Beef Enterprise will be selling burgers for $5 from 11a.m. to 1p.m. For more information about the 2012 Summer Berry Farmer’s Market, please visit www.berrystudententerprises.com.
