Police arrested a Cave Spring man Monday and charged him with illegally using another person’s bank card to withdraw money.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Anthony Lamar Brooks, 46, of 125 Hill Minshew Road in Cave Spring, was arrested by Floyd County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with felony financial card transaction fraud and felony theft by conversion.

Floyd County police detectives stated in warrants that earlier this month, Brooks made an unauthorized ATM transaction at a convenience store with the victim’s SunTrust bank card.

Police also said that Brooks obtained a Ford F-150 pickup truck from the victim and failed to return it as agreed.

He remains in jail without bail.
