Mr. and Mrs. Barry McCullough of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Diane McCullough of Rome to Richard Darrell Stephens III (Trey) of Cedartown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stephens Jr. of Cedartown.

Miss McCullough is a 2007 graduate of Pepperell High school. She graduated from the University of West Georgia in April 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech

Language Pathology and is currently pursuing her master’s degree. She is employed at Floyd Urgent Care in Rome.

The bride-elect is the sister of Chelsie McCullough of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Betty Smith of Aragon and Carl and Betty McCullough of Rome. She is the great-granddaughter of Addie Turner of Rome.

Stephens is a 2007 graduate of Cedartown High School. He graduated from Leavell College at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministry with minors in Biblical Studies and Church Ministries. He is currently pursuing a Master’s of Divinity degree. He is self-employed and serving as interim Youth Minister at Second Baptist Church in Cedartown.

The groom-elect is the brother of Rebekah Stephens and Gretchen Stephens, both of Cedartown. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stephens of Cedartown, Charlotte Green of Cave Spring and the late Roger Green.

The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Riverside Baptist Church in Rome. A reception will follow. Family and Friends are invited to attend.
