The parent company of Cartersville Medical Center and Redmond Regional Medical Center, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), has been named one of the Ethisphere Institute’s 2013 World’s Most Ethical Companies.

HCA is leading healthcare provider with 162 hospitals and 112 ambulatory surgery centers in 20 states and London, England. It is the fourth consecutive year HCA has achieved this distinction. The Ethisphere Institute is a leading international organization dedicated to the creation, advancement and sharing of best practices in business ethics, governance, anti-corruption and sustainability. HCA is one of only four healthcare providers on this year’s list.

“We are proud to be part of the HCA family of hospitals who truly embrace ethical business practices and demonstrate industry leadership,” said Cartersville Medical Center CEO Keith Sandlin.
