A Rome man called city police after discovering a break-in at his home on Cedar Avenue in South Rome.

According to Rome police reports:

The victim told police that someone had apparently entered his home through a window. A pressure washer valued at $2,200 was stolen and a slot machine was forced open with approximately $50 in nickels taken.

T-tops and the front end of a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass that was parked in the driveway had also been stolen.

Police were able to retrieve footprints outside the window that had been used to gain entry to the residence.
