A Floyd County man is in jail after police say he threw a floor heater through his bedroom window Monday night, damaging furniture while yelling, “I want to kill myself,” reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Rickey Lee Griffin, 30, of 350 Brewer Road, Lot A, is charged with felony criminal damage to property in the second degree and misdemeanor public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Griffin was released from jail Tuesday on $4,950 bail.
