Rabbit Run Golf Club on Ga. 140 near Adairsville is holding its own “Star Search” contest.

The karaoke contest will be each weekend for six weeks, starting Jan. 8. There is a $5 entry fee, and singers can enter as many times as they wish. Someone will be picked nightly to advance to the finals.

Contestants will be judged on singing and performance, and winners will be chosen at the end of six weeks. Cash prizes will be given to overall first, second and third place winners.
