Two air conditioning units were destroyed and the copper pipes were stolen over the weekend, according to a Rome police report.

According to the report:

The units were located behind James Buckley and Associates, 700 East Second Ave.

An employee told police the units were in place when he left the business between 2 and 3 p.m. on Friday but he found them destroyed when he returned to work on Monday morning.

The units were valued at $3,000 or more each.
