A large amount of jewelry and cash were stolen from a residence on Williamson Street, according to Floyd County Police reports.

According to the report:

Someone apparently forced their way into a home by kicking in the front door and tampering only with the bedroom.

One jewelry box was missing and another was emptied and still at the residence. Also missing was a Canon digital camera and $2,000 cash.

Among the jewelry taken was a chain necklace, matching necklace, bracelet and earrings, a large diamond-shaped ring with an emerald surrounded by diamonds, a ruby necklace, a bronze bracelet, a large black rock necklace and a long necklace with silver flowers.
