Report: Man choked victim, held gun to her head

A Rome man is facing one felony charge and two misdemeanor charges after he allegedly pushed a woman to the ground, choked her and held a gun to her head, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Chris Daniel Davenport, 29, of 458 Pleasant Valley Road, Silver Creek, committed the acts in front of a young child. He is charged with felony aggravated assault, and misdemeanors cruelty to children and battery.
