The Chattooga County Sheriff’s office uncovered several makeshift methamphetamine labs during the past week.

The first lab was discovered Friday at a vacant mobile home belonging to William Glenn Alexander, 43, of 3730 Spring Creek Road, Trion. Investigators say they found five different labs on that one property.

One makeshift lab was discovered in a brown duffle bag near a wood line. Another lab was discovered inside a cardboard box in the woods. Other labs were discovered inside the residence as well.
