A Rome man remains in jail Saturday morning on a felony obstruction charge and misdemeanor charges after being arrested at his home, reports stated.
According to reports from the Floyd County Jail:
James Stephen Deskin, 43, of 14 Melton Ave., was arrested by Floyd County Police Friday at around 11 p.m.
Deskin during his arrest was reported to have “physically resisting officers lawful commands and arrest” and threatened officers physically.
He remain jailed without bail on the felony charge of obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers and misdemeanor charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct.
