Clyde Craig, of Rome, caught this monster blue catfish on the Oostanaula River near Chieftains Museum on Friday afternoon. He said he has been fishing all his life and estimated the fish weighed between 60 and 70 pounds. While he used a rod and reel, he would not publicly disclose what he used for bait. He said an acquaintance would likely eat the catfish.
